How to use my GoPro hero 4 silver?

I ve figured out how to use it (not really). But I don t know what video setting to put it on? For example, when I click setup I have literally have NO idea what any of this means. I m going on vacation to Cancun and was wondering what video setting to put it on.

Setup:
- What video format should I put it on?
- LEDs?
- Should quick capture be on?
- Should the orientation be up, down, or auto?

Video setting:
- What should the resolution be on?
- Frames per Second?
- lowlight be on or off?
- Spot meter… On or off?
- Protune… On or off?

On vacation I m going to use it underwater to go snorkeling and what not. I ve tried going on google and YouTube to find answers, but it just confused me more. I ll admit I m the not the brightest out of the bunch… To whoever answers this question thank you so much.
