GoPro Hero 3 White Edition deleting files?

On my GoPro, I record a video and then I plug the microSD card into the computer. I look in the folder, and they're all gone! No more videos! However, for some reason GoPro Studio somehow finds the files on the card. For now that's what I do: Convert all the clips in GoPro Studio, then put them in my editing program. But it is a hassle and it takes unnecessary time just to use a couple of clips. Please help!
