How to add photos on gopro studio?

I'm making a video and at the end i want a slide show of photos but this is possibly the most difficult thing i have ever tried to do… I managed to import about 3 photos and i added them on as little 2 second clips but for some reason it only lets me import certain photos and now it's just not letting me import any. I have tried renaming them and moving them all over the place, into their own files into random files, nothing works. What happens is on stage 1 i try to import them and it either does nothing (nothing comes up on the screen), or it appears to work fine until stage 2 where the clip is just black and it doesn't play, or the program crashes, or the importer crashes. It seems to give a different excuse each time. I feel like iv'e tried everything. Can anyone help? Is it me or did they just allow a monkey to do this part of the program? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
