In washington state is it illegal to have a gopro camera on your motorcycle helmet?

ive been thinking about getting one for a while (mainly for cars almost running me over or 1 accident i had which i had to provide insurance with evidence that i wasnt at fault)

but i saw a video on youtube of a motorcyclist getting pulled over in my state and he said that he wasnt allowed to have objects protruding from the mans helmet and it was stated clearly in the RCW. The cop also said he had the red tail light out. (later in the video the guy showed that his tail light was fully functional)

ive been looking in the RCW and i can not find anything saying that you couldnt have one under motorcycle helmet requirements. Im not saying it isnt there i just cant find it so thats why im asking.
