Is there a problem with the seal on my GoPro camera's back door?

the white seal is brand new but i am not sure if it has a factory defect or not, there appears to be a small anomaly/deformation that measures about 2 millimeters across, i suspect it is normal and is where the factory poured the silicone into the mold but i don't want to risk surfing with the camera if water can get in through there. Is this nothing to be concerned about? If you have a GoPro, does your seal have the same thing?
