Is it worth getting GoPro hero action camera?

i need a good video camera recorder so i can capture and store some good video. I've iPhone 5s everything is good but it is 16gb so while recording video i have to think a lot and soon i am going to get 6s plus 16 gb version. If not gopro then any good portable camcorder but it should be cheap one?
