Are police officers allowed to verbally abuse you?

So two days ago me and all of my friends were skating at the skatepark having fun. I saw my friends leave but I didn't think much of it. About ten minutes later my friend told me that he heard that my best friend that was with that group got into a fight with someone at the school next to the park. So me and the friend that told me what happened ran over to the school to see what was going on and to make sure everything was alright. As we start walking around the school we see a police officer. We saw that he saw us and used his radio. We just stood there until he started walking towards us. And then he started speeding up and chasing us. Me and my friend got scared and ran because for all we knew he could've tacked us. As we're running we see another officer pull up so we stop to explain what happened. He asked why we ran and we explained why we went back there and that the officer was chasing us. He was much nicer than the cop we ran from which he made us talk to. When he showed up he told us that we would be suspended from the skatepark for a week and if we came back we would be arrested for trespassing. Not sure how he could do that since we weren't on the skatepark property the entire time this happened. But I didn't want to argue with him. I was filming all this on my gopro and he said that we had to empty out our pockets and turn off the camera. It's perfectly legal to film but then again didn't want to argue.
