Can gopro hero 1 get the lcd bacpac?

I have the 1st gopro. I'm not sure what the difference between hd hero 1 and hero 1 is because they both film in hd but i want to get the lcd bacpac for my regular gopro hero 1. I was wondering if it works on my camera as it isn't clear on their website.
