If I'm using a GoPro Hero 3 and it dies while I'm recording is the video saved?

I was recording a video and it ended up dying while I was recording. I'm not at home rn so I can't check the camera, but will my video still be on the camera; or does it not get saved? I'm freaking out rn because of this so please help if you can!
