I will be starting my flight training in Canada soon. First of all, is there a law regarding the mounting of cameras on the fuselage/wing/tail of a General Aviation plane? I read from a YouTube comment that it's illegal there to mount on the exterior of an aircraft. Can anyone confirm if this is true or false?
Secondly, will the mounting of a GoPro have an effect to the aerodynamics of the plane and to what extent?
Lastly, and most widely discussed, what's the true airspeed, or speed at least, that the GoPro suction can withstand? For instance, you mounted a GoPro on the plane you're flying, what is the speed that you do not dare to exceed?
Also, if you have ever used the suction on a plane's exterior, can you tell me which speeds you have successfully flown the aircraft in without the GoPro suction failing?
