I'm looking to upgrade my current motorcycle helmet to one that already has a built in GoPro mount (preferably a mouth mount). I currently have already epoxied and secured a mount to my current helmet but would like to see if there are any helmets out there that already have one built in - I did an alright job and the mount has lasted for two years but it would be nice to not have to do it again. I live in Washington and have heard of a law that anything protruding more than 5mm or modifying that effects the integrity of the helmet is illegal. But, I like the "insurance" that the camera can bring being on my helmet. After being hit by two cages and going down hard - having the camera saved me big time in court and insurance claims.
Or if there are any helmets that have a flat mouth - that would work! I ride sportier bikes/stunters so something fitting along those lines would be super helpful!
