Can a power bank with a higher voltage damage my device?

I have a GoPro Hero 4 Black. I cannot buy the official GoPro power bank for some reasons so I went to a store where I found many power banks. It's written on GoPro's battery that it takes in 3.8V, all the power banks I found had an output of 1/2/2.1A, that means that multiplying these values by 5 result in volts much higher than the required (5/10/10.5V). What happens if the voltage of the supply is higher than the input of the GoPro? Are there any other factors I should take in consideration?
