Can I carry a handgun while riding a motorcycle?

But more importantly, can I start popping shots if some bastard get road rage and tries to run off me the road? (Only in an extreme case, as if he was physically trying to hit me off of my bike with his car and potentially kill me) of coarse I wouldn t shoot to kill unless it is my only option, but maybe a few warning shots on his vehicle. I do ride with a gopro head mount so I would be able to prove that my life was in danger and fired in self defense. But before those questions to be answered I need to know if I can even carry a pistol on a bike and the rules that need to be followed with it
