Do video editing computers make a big difference and do they do anything else?

I assume they are better at editing videos, but the main videos I'll be making are YouTube videos and I might start making really high quality videos in a few years or so just depends.

Would a video editing computer be good for that or are they more or less for making movies? Are they good at anything else? I also have other questions if anyone wants to answer then thanks ahead of time.

Also side note I don't know much about computers and I've taken an interest in making videos and editing them. I'm still in a noob stage and I only have a GoPro camera, so just wondering about a few things.
