What camera should I get for YouTube-style vlogging?
I need a tripod-friendly camera with an articulated LCD screen that shoots 1080p+ for under $400.
It will be used primarily for basic YouTube vlogging style videos where the subject sits in a chair in front of the camera and speaks.
An external mic will be purchased, so sound quality is a non-issue.
I d love to find one that shoots 4k, but I m pretty sure that s not possible at this point for the price unless I get a GoPro which isn t really well-suited for what I want to do.
Additionally, autofocus while in video mode is needed as there will be a potential for varying subjects at different levels in some videos.
I already own a Canon and a Nikon DSLR, but they don t offer autofocus while shooting video, but I do have lenses for those makes and would prefer to find another camera under one or the other. I m willing to look at other brands though.
Thanks in advance!
