GoPro Studio application on my macbook pro won't accept any of my videos from the Photos app?

I have made various time-lapse videos through GoPro Studio… And it works FANTASTIC… But this time, I think I may have messed up. When I was transferring my videos onto my Photos Library, (which I figured out is completely unnecessary to save the raw clips) I selected "DELETE AFTER IMPORT" Without thinking… So the original videos from my camera were deleted.

Hours later, after realizing I had ****** up, I saw that it was maybe the screwed up format the Photos app converted my videos to that the GoPro Studio app won't allow to be converted. So, I changed the format from M4V to MP4… Thinking this would finally solve the problem, I go to import the video, and unlike times before, when I went to find the video, I was able to click on it to "OPEN" in the GoPro app, and then… NOTHING. It won't import the video. I'm quite literally about to smash my computer to bits and throw a temper tantrum…

Bottom line, is this a lost cause? Is there absolutely NO way to get the videos in the GoPro app and edit them there? Please help me out!
