Could I Bring a GoPro Hero 3 to Six Flags Over Texas with a chest mount?

My brother and i are going to six flags and i just got a gopro hero 3 and a chesty about a week and a half ago. The SFOT website says that Go Pro camreas arent allowed but i saw on youtube that people have brought them there before. I know i cant sneak it in because they have metal detectors but i would really like to record our POV on the rides. I have a season pass if that makes any difference
