I don't have time lapse mode in my gopro hero4?

I've been looking for time lapse mode in my gopro hero4. I got this around February 2015 and I can't find or I don't know how to set time lapse. There is no time lapse mode. I just have video, camera, video+photo, and burst. My friend asked me if video+photo is time lapse mode but I tried but I don't think it's time lapse. I wanna set 0.5 sec but there also isn't 0.5 sec I just have 5, 10, 30, and 60. Does anyone know how I can set beautiful time lapse hero 4?
