How to protect my GoPro from UV/Sunlight damaging the lens/sensor when filming in sunlight?

I'm going to be extremely close to the equator on a vacation soon, and I am going to be outside filming a lot. I won't be intentionally aiming my camera at the sun or the sky, but it will be directly in the sunlight a lot of times. What can I do to protect my sensor from burning out and getting a streak across from burn-in on the sensor?

My camera is a GoPro Hero 4 silver.

I will also have it in water, so I'd like something that either goes inside the case or fits over the case on the outside. Thank you!

I don't know if the hero 4 still has this problem like the old ones or not.
