How to reject classmate who wants to borrow Gopro?

So I have this classmate who wants to borrow my Gopro this week. But I have only known him for 3 weeks and I don't know if I can trust him with my 300 bucks camera. And plus I usually don't borrow people my stuff unless I trust them.
