How to take clearer pictures with my GoPro Hero 3+?

I have a roll bar mount attached to a hiking pole in this image. I took it on 1080 W with the timed photo option. This is the clearest image I took. Can someone tell me how to take clearer images with my gopro, what i did wrong, or give me any tips? I'm new at this.
