I have a Canon Eos 1200d (rebel t5) and sound quality is obviously terrible with the camera's inbuilt microphone. I'm interesting in buying a rode shotgun external mic but the camera doesn't actually have a microphone input. I've found micro usb to mic adapters for gopro but I'm not sure if it will work with anything other than a gopro. Will it work?
