I am going to create a dramatic short film using a GoPro HERO4 Black camera, but have read online that the built-in-mic does not perform especially well. What are some high-quality microphones and/or booms that are compatible with this camera? I do need a high audio quality--something with minimal feedback but a range of at least 10 feet. If I can directly attach it to the camera somehow, that's even better! I would also rather not spend more than $90-100 USD if possible, excluding shipping rates.
I was also wondering--is simply filming voice-overs in post-production a viable alternative to live audio capture?
