I'm an experienced biker, skill wise. I've bike many trails with my friends and I want to take it to the next level and buy a dirt bike. My future goal is to follow what some Youtubers did and go on a trip to the mountains with a GOpro for a month or so and have an awesome adventure. My question is, is this possible for me? I've saved over 5K and am still working at tim hortons. I'm 19 years old and still living with my folks. Should I wait till I'm on more stable ground? Or should I buy a dirt bike or motorcycle and plan a trip while I don't have to much responsibility. Any advice on travel or long distance road trips would be appreciated please
