I am currently waiting out the release of the GoPro Hero 4. I wanted to use it for travel shots from my Mountain bike and Longboard; but i have this thing where i find filming in the rain beautiful and even moreso when there's flashes of lightning, but i have this nagging feeling everytime i go out with my current camera (DIY waterproofed fujifilm) that ill get struck. I don't mind getting wet or anything but do you guys have ANY tips for what i do?
NOTE this isnt me asking how to keep my camera safe, its how to keep myself safe. And dont go telling me to just not go out when its raining. People jump out of planes and go cliff diving and what not. But theres a way of adding SOME element of safety to everything
