I currently own an early 2009 iMac. It has a 2.93 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, with 8GB 1067 DDR3 memory. I just purchased a Gopro Hero 3+ Black addition, and was pretty upset when I found out my Mac could not handle the device. When I load clips onto my computer they are very choppy, which I believe is due to my CPU speed. What type of computer do I need to process 1080p 60fps smoothly, or can I get my machine to work?
