What type of camera is the best for recording drums?

I upload drum covers to youtube and at the moment I just use my iphone 5 to record myself but id like to buy a much better camera. I don't use mics so the camera would need to have good sound quality as well. I've heard GoPros are good but I still need help deciding on a camera. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
