GoPro Hero 3 White Edition 1080p or 720p?

I just recently bought a GoPro hero 3 white edition and I'm wondering which mode I should use to record in. The options are either 1080p @ 30fps or 720p @ 60fps.

The 1080p appears to give me a better picture, but while the 720p gives me a lesser quality picture, the viewing angle appears to be larger and the image also appears to be less shaky.

Any opinions?
